Some of my earliest memories take place on a plane, but it wasn't until 2009 that I really fell in love with the idea of going to and discovering new places. Since then, I have found myself in places that I'd never thought that I'd visit. Most recently, I traveled on board a ship to sail around the world as a volunteer interpreter. I write about my journeys, sample itineraries and share travel tips over at Kizzling Around, but wanted a place to write about the more girly aspects of my life as a wanderer and thus, the Girly Side of Travel was born.
